Women & Children
ICN has a dedicated team working with women and children. Each week two important events take place:
1.Women’s integration project. This is a morning for English and culture instruction. It is fun and informative. A creche facility is provided by qualified child carers.
2.Weekly ESOL classes with creche facilities – another opportunity for developing community .
Both these programmes give women with small children opportunities for interaction and friendship.
The ICN women’s workers visit families and give the necessary support that is so crucial to often isolated families.
We also assist in find good quality accommodation and make sure these families know what is available for them.
Over the past years ICN has also acted as ‘family’ to a number of weddings with the directors being ‘father of the bride.’
